How do I plan a golf trip to Arizona?

It is hard to imagine that the desert land Arizona in the southwestern United States has more than 400 golf courses, and in terms of landscape, it has one of the best and most beautiful plants worldwide counts.

To plan a perfect Arizona golf vacation which is tailored to your individual needs, you should know the following:

1. Recommended travel time:
 October - April.

Temperatures: between 23 and 35 degrees

In the summer months between May and September, temperatures can rise up to 45 degrees. Due to the dry desert climate, however, 45 degrees feel more comfortable than a tropic-like day in Germany with 30 degrees. In terms of price, Arizona's summer is the cheapest, not only because of the temperatures, but also because of the lower demand from American tourists.

If you do, then you will have a slightly longer journey to the most beautiful golf courses in the north. Alternatively, there are numerous great accommodations in the north of Scottsdale. This area is about 400 meters higher and is about 20 minutes from downtown Scottsdale. The north of Scottsdale presents itself through the majestic Saguaro cactus, to a breathtaking landscape - sometimes with mountains that invite to short and long walks, or mountain bike tours. 

Another advantage is its proximity to the myriad of well-known golf courses, such as Troon North, The Boulders, Grayhawk or the private desert mountain. You will also find a wide range of restaurants and shops within a short distance.

4.Golf Courses:

In and around Scottsdale / Phoenix, there are over 200 golf courses in a range of about 1 hour drive. Depending on the quality, these differ in price to some extent considerable. The green fee prices are high, especially in the season (autumn - spring) compared to other golf destinations in the upper average. But, when you experience the places yourself, play golf, and have been convinced by the exceptionally good service, you will realize that the price-performance ratio is still appropriate and fair.
